Large Wetherspoon pub in the centre of Merthyr Tydfil town centre, named after the martyr Richard Lewis, better known as as Dic Penderyn. The main bar is on the ground floor, plus an upper floor which includes an outdoor seating area, overlooking Penderyn Square and the splendid Redhouse Cymru building. Food is available for the majority of opening hours.
