The Llanover dates back to the late 18th century and the photos and other artefacts displayed in the pub show its rich history through the centuries and also the changing face of Pontypridd as a whole. There are three rooms, each with their own distinct character, and a large beer garden, where live music features during the summer months. The bar serves up to three real ales, often from breweries uncommon to the area. The pub is located just 5 minutes walk from Pontypridd bus station and close to the museum and historic old bridge.
